The Historic Bull Market Journey of Bitcoin: As Thrilling as a Roller Coaster
First Bull Market (September 2010 - June 2011):
Bitcoin surged from $0.06 to $36, an increase of nearly 600 times! But before the celebrations could start, the price plunged to $2.5. Despite the 93% drop, luckily it didn’t fall below $2.
Second Bull Market (October 2011 - April 2013):
This bull market took off before the first halving event in November 2012, with Bitcoin rising from $2 to $260, a 130-fold increase! However, the good times didn’t last, it dropped back to $50 in less than a week, an 80% fall.
Third Bull Market (April 2013 - December 2013):
Bitcoin climbed from $50 to $1,000, a 23-fold increase! But soon after, it fell to $150, an 87% decrease. It fell fast but always managed to get back up!
Fourth Bull Market (January 2016 - December 2017):
This bull market lasted two years. With the arrival of the 2016 halving, Bitcoin rose steadily from $400 to $20,000, a 50-fold increase! Notably, it took 10 months to rise from $1,000 to $5,000, but only 20 days to jump from $7,000 to $20,000—the bull market comes quickly and goes just as fast.
Fifth Bull Market (May 2020 - Early 2021):
Following the third halving in May 2020, Bitcoin’s price was $6,900 and then began to soar. By the end of the year, Bitcoin not only surpassed its previous all-time high but also broke through $60,000 within six months!
Whether it’s a bull market or a bear market, high-quality ICO projects remain highly sought after. The bull market can be dizzying, but choosing the right project is key. Remember, each roller-coaster-like market cycle sets the stage for future bull markets!
