Monsieurs and mademoiselles, say bonjour to the new season of Emily in Paris.

After nearly two years of fans being très patient, Netflix finally released the fourth installment of the series on Aug. 15.

And in case you forgot, things aren't exactly magnifique for Lily Collins' Emily. In the season three finale, Camille (Camille Razat) called off her wedding to Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) mid-ceremony and told him she knows he and Emily have loved each other since the moment they met. Needless to say, this didn’t sit too well with Emily’s boyfriend Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), who told her he’s "nobody’s second choice." To make matters even more complicated, Gabriel told Emily that Camille is pregnant.

"We were very surprised, very shocked," Lily told E! News in 2022 about her reaction to season three’s ending. "But also, thank God we have a season four to get to leap right into that one right away. So we were very excited."

Now, season four kicks off with a TikTok about Emily and the wedding scandal going viral. And let’s just say, her boss Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) isn’t too happy about it—or how it could affect one of her marketing company’s campaigns.

As for what the future holds for Emily, Alfie, and Gabriel? No need to say, “S’il vous plait, no spoilers.” You’ll just have to watch season four part one on Netflix to see what’s in store for these three as well as Camille, Emily’s BFF Mindy (Ashley Park) and the rest of the cast.

Offscreen, their romances are thankfully less messy. But don't just take our word for it, read on for a look inside the love lives of the cast.

When Emily in Paris' Lily Collins met Charlie McDowell, she felt the amour right away.

"We both are in the industry and we have parents that are in a similar industry as well, but we met randomly, actually," the actress, who is the daughter of Phil Collins and Jill Tavelman, told Ellen DeGeneres in 2022 about her relationship with the filmmaker, whose parents are Malcolm McDowell and Mary Steenburgen. "So we were kind of surprised we hadn’t met yet. We’d been in the same rooms a bunch of times and never met. But it was kind of one of those cheesy-but-true love-at-first-sight things."

The couple—who worked together in Gilded Rage and Windfall— made their romance Instagram official in 2019. The following year, they got engaged in New Mexico while on a road trip, with Charlie proposing with a rose-cut diamond ring.

The two tied the knot in a private Colorado ceremony in 2021 and have continued to take on the world together.

"We can kind of conquer anything," Lily told E! the following year. "We've been through so many changes globally, personally. And to be able to have a partner next to you that makes you laugh in times when you need it the most and helps you emotionally get through things, like moving to a foreign country for four months, I just feel so grateful that I have someone next to me to be able to accomplish that and your best friend with you all the time."

Lucas Bravo tends to keep his private life, well, private

However, he did shine some light on what he most admires about a partner.

"There are so many possibilities," he told Glamour in 2020, with the outlet reporting he was single. "I love when my partner wakes me up in the morning with cuddly, tender…just a sweet wakeup is the best. Kisses on the neck and all that kind of stuff."

As for his turnoffs?

"I really don’t like when the person runs away," Lucas added. "I like communication. It’s the basis of everything. Don’t be afraid or assume how the other person will take it. I don’t like when there is an elephant in the room and the person chooses to just run away or slam the door or sit in a corner with their baby face on. I don’t like pouting or when someone avoids a conversation."

Not only do Paul Forman and Ashley Park's characters date on Emily in Paris, they're also a couple IRL.

"We fell in love as friends and as actors and as scene partners first," the actress told E! News at the season four premiere in August 2024 about working together, "so it was really fun to dive back into that together and see each other in a professional setting. Because we respect each other so much in a professional way."

Months after sparking romance rumors, Ashley confirmed her relationship with Paul in January 2024 and shared how he'd been there for her during a health scare—noting "what started as tonsillitis spiraled into critical septic shock, which infected and affected several of my organs."

"I am grateful that my health has improved despite what we had initially been told," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "Grateful most of all to @peforman for being unconditionally by my side through all this. You calmed my fears and held me through ambulances, three foreign hospitals, a week in the ICU, scary ERs, countless scans and tests and injections, excruciating pain, and so much confusion all while we were alone on the other side of the world far from those we know. I love you Paul. More than I can ever say."

Excusez-moi, but have you heard the story of how Kate Walsh met her fiancé Andrew Nixon?

"We met, as one does, on a Nat Geo expedition to Antarctica," she said on a 2023 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, joking, "There’s an app for it, guys. Just look out."

So it's safe to say it'll be hard to top that vacation. "It was an incredible trip," the Grey's Anatomy star added. "And then bonus, found the love of my life."

Kate let it slip they were engaged when she referred to Andrew as her fiancé during a 2022 Instagram Live celebrating the 15th anniversary of her show Private Practice.

Previously, she was married to producer Alex Young. According to Today, the two tied the knot in 2007 but filed for divorce less than a year later, with it being finalized in 2010.

In 2021, Camille Razat announced her engagement to photographer Etienne Baret.

“Blessed @etiennebaret," the actress wrote on Instagram in a since-deleted post alongside footage from the proposal, per ELLE Australia. "Thank you to my amazing friend(s) I love you!”

They were last photographed together at Milan Fashion Week in 2023.

After Lucien Laviscount made a steamy appearance in the music video for Shakira and Cardi B's song "Puntería," he was spotted enjoying a cozy dinner with the "Hips Don't Lie" artist.

And while neither one commented on the romance rumors, the actor did reveal what it was like to work with Shakira.

"To work with such an amazing talent, artist and human being was incredible," Lucien told E! News in May 2024. "I took so much from that, and I think everyone can learn from that beautiful woman and who she is."

"The way that she operates with her team, and her passion for things, and how she envisions things, and how she wants things to be done, it's all from the heart and how she expresses that to people," he added. "People will go to the ends of the earth for her—her team, the people that are around her, everyone on that set—because it comes from the heart."

While Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu doesn’t mind sharing what she really thinks of her character Sylvie’s clothes, she isn’t as open about her personal life and has kept it private.

Want to date William Abadie? If the answer is oui, you're not alone. In fact, he's received quite a few DMs.

“They say things like: ‘Please be my boyfriend’ or ‘Take me to the Eiffel Tower,’ and it’s very flattering,” the actor told the New York Post in 2020. “I’m always very thankful and try to reply to their comments.”

Though William didn't reveal his relationship status, he did share his approach to love.

“I don’t want to be too pushy about anything,” he added. “I’ve just tried to let the stars align.”
